Color style a single word /single letter

 Select the text frame you want to color style and highlight the individual word or letter with your mouse.

Click on the caps A on the text edit panel. This opens another color picker option.

Here you can select your desired color for the highlighted selection.

The desired color style for the selected frame can also be selected from the right side menu under color (clicking opens color palette)
