If you enter an Approved Email in the Anthill Activator™ and see a red banner with the words "Uneditable content" you can check following in order to troubleshoot the problem before contacting the Anthill Activator™  support team.


Is the content created in Activator?

Only content created in the Activator can be edited in the Activator.


One way to check this in Vault. Go to the section Renditions. If there is a file present called Email Editor then it's an indicator that this approved email was not created in Activator to begin with.




Second way to check is to look in inside the approved emails HTML code. Download the source document and open it in notepad or any other suitable text editor.



The Activator uses the approved emails relation to our Fusion library in order to edit the content. If the contents are created in Activator, it will have an injected script to the respective fusion version. If these lines, as show in the screenshot below, are not found, the Activator considers a document as non-editable.
