Release 1.12.2

Introduction

Activator v1.12.2 is a patch release fixing issues and providing some overall improvements.

Please note: The label SHARED RESOURCE indicates that the change is done in the Shared Resource, which requires the Shared Resource to be upgraded.

Improvements

Added possibility to change unit type on width field SHARED RESOURCE

The button component on emails previously only had th possibility to be between 0 og 100 width. That field is now extended with unit type selection, allowing the user to either choose px or %.  

Version toggle, toggles the same version

The version toggling has been disabled due to limitations in Veeva Vault. Other versions can be seen in Vault directly, but not in Activator. This is going to be reverted once the limitation in Vault is removed.

Fixes 

Text box font color not applied on copied (formatted) text

When pasting text from external resource, the font styles is now stripped and only bold and link tags are kept and the user can continue with formatting from the panel.

(Shared Resources) - On add item, the Binder is missing from the selection

When changing menu items in a Shared Resource, the “Add item” button is not longer above the dropdown selection of Binders.

(Compare and Translate) - versions are not chronologically

Comparing versions now order in a chronological way (ie. 0.1, 0.2, etc. instead of 0.1, 0.10, 0.11, 0.2).

Missing states in dropdown

Whenever a document was moved to Approved and then “Revert Back”, then the state can now again be selected.

Shared Resource not found on new material

When creating Slides, it is now possible to select all Shared Resources - not only the ones created in Activator.

Apply translation to other document

In version 1.12.1, the option “Select Document to translate“ was removed. This change puts it back for xliff and excel files. Furthermore the restriction that the slide version had to be the same as the one in the excel has been removed, which means the latest version would be updated.

No notification on images that are too big to upload

Whenever uploading an image that is too big, there is now a notification informing the user.

Iframe viewer is throwing 404 while typing SHARED RESOURCE

The iframe-component have now gotten link validation, meaning that errors will not be thrown while typing the URL.

Properties: font-weight and font-style behave differently on email and slides.

Font properties have now been aligned across content types and tooltip that explains has been added.

Not possible to have two or more documents open at the same time

When opening a document directly from Vault (using the Web Action buttons), the session that is established is now kept to ensure that you can open multiple document in the same browser (multiple tabs).

(Shared Resource) - Thumbnail previews do not adjust to changes

Changes to fragements within an SR now generates proper thumbnails in the fragment overview list.

old monitoring.js was not removed after migration to 1.12.1 SHARED RESOURCE

Users are now informed that monitoring.js is deprecated and that they should use services/monitoring instead.

Menu does not appear on the slides SHARED RESOURCE

The component “bottom menu” was not shown on the iPad, only on the Preview in Activator.

(EMAIL) - Comparison view does not show text differences when you toggle version

Due to limitations in Veeva Vault with versions, the TEXT compare mode has been disabled. This is going to be reverted once the limitation in Vault is removed.
