Workaround guide: Preview issue for Approved Email in Veeva Vault
An issue with preview renditions has been detected in Veeva Vault PromoMats whenever a change to an approved email has been published to Vault.
As seen below, this email has changes that need to be uploaded to Vault. The user clicks “Publish to Vault”.

However, the preview in Veeva Vault PromoMats is not rendered correctly as seen in the two examples below.

Workarounds
Suggestion 1:
Use the "Re-render document" option in Vault:

Suggestion 2:
Open the document in Activator again, make a small change to the document (such as a space) and re-upload a new version to Vault:

Suggestion 3: (this is an older manual workaround which is similar to suggestion 1)
Step 1: Make sure you are on the latest version in Vault. If you are unsure of which version you are viewing, refresh your browser and it will let you know which version is the latest.

Step 2: Go to the tool bar on the right-hand side and select the drop-down menu for the blue document icon. Download the “Veeva_html.html” file.

Step 3: Click on the cog-icon (settings) and select “upload new version”.

Step 4: Upload the “Veeva_html.html” file you just downloaded.

Wait for it to fully upload.
Wait for the rendition to generate. Be patient as this can take a few minutes.

The picture now reflects the changes in the Activator.

Step 5: Remember that you uploaded a new version which will increase the version number of the document. The Activator will let you know if you are working on an outdated version. Click “Load latest version”
